On the other hand, the traditional state was much weaker than the secular one. Traditionally, people used to be organized in families and tribes, whose role was in some aspects similar to the role of a modern secular state, such as protection, financial support, cooperation, and even including legal protection. Family members would protect one another from adversaries, criminals, thieves, as well as they would protect one another from the government itself.

Once the institution of tribe was abolished by the British Empire and family’s role was restricted substantially, the modern government increased its power tremendously compared to the traditional state. The modern secular government has the monopoly on: legislative power, judicial power, executive power, the economy, the educational system, the media, the scientific institutions, the military, the police service, businesses, employment, property and construction permits, and many other aspects. Tribe and family have no role in this regard. People are just citizens.

In the modern time, the government is extremely powerful and enjoys unlimited power while citizens are individuals and very vulnerable. Definitely, there are pros and cons. Being vulnerable and merely individuals, the people are not a threat to one another. The control of the government is so powerful that no individual can cause harm to the society without the help of the government itself. In fact, most of the crimes, corruption and problems are caused by thugs of the government even though little is admitted officially.

So, in the modern state, the people or the masses are not a threat. They are very vulnerable and unorganized individuals under a super powerful state. The biggest threat for the masses – individuals who are stripped off tribal and family protection, is the government itself, the military, the police service, and particularly judges. We don’t have tribes and families to protect us from the injustice of the government. In the best case scenario, family members will take the side of the government.

Therefore, for us – the masses, there is only one weapon which we can use to protect ourselves from the government, that is, free speech. We cannot build families to protect us; that’s illegal, but we can use free speech to protect ourselves from corrupt judges and the injustice and oppression of the government.

While firearms stimulate the most primitive feelings, and appeal to the use of force in order to find a solution to our problems, pen, on the other hand, stimulates the process of thinking and appeals to what is best and most powerful within ourselves, which then leads to solutions for our problems.

Pen stands at the foundation of civilizations while weapons are used either to desperately cling to power, or to take human lives and destroy civilizations.

Pen is that magical instrument which not only makes it possible for us to convert ideas from an abstract and intangible form into writing and symbols, which help us perceive the ideas better, and even convey them to others, as others do the same. Without writing, humanity would have remained in the Stone Age forever.

This idea that pen – reading and writing, is the fundamental means of building a civilization, has been captured by Quran in the most eloquent way possible in first five verses revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Allah compares the building a civilization like the creation of a child, which starts off like a clinging clot, then with the generosity of Allah grows into a full human being. In the same context, Allah mentions pen as a great favor to humanity, Who through which teaches people what they don’t know.

I’m sure that when pen – reading and writing, is mentioned, we put ourselves in a passive and receptive position, that we have to read the books of others, which is true, but little do we think that the process of writing itself is unique in forming ideas and understanding things. Pen is meant to take people from a passive to an active role.

By virtue of using the pen to write, you are on the way to success, and be ready to expect from God – the Most Generous – unimaginable blessings.

It’s not a coincidence that Quran, which came to build the biggest civilization ever, refers in the same context to: creation, fetus, reading, pen and God’s generosity and the secret that God teaches people through pen what they don’t know.

“Read, in the Name of your Lord Who created, Who created humans from a clinging clot. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, Who taught by the pen — taught humanity what they knew not.” Quran 96: 1-5.

Pen is the weapon that we need, that takes us from the darkness of ignorance and modern slavery and oppression to the light of knowledge, freedom and dignity. Pen uplifts us. It takes us from the passive role of receiving the deadly propaganda to the active role of producing ideas and stimulating the spirit of responsibility. Pen transforms people from passive ignorant to active dignified people.

Writing is the art that we all need to learn.

I hope that we all agree on the fact that university as an educational institution has played a central role in the advancement of human civilization. In fact, the Islamic civilization had a pioneering role in formalizing and standardizing education from elementary to university level, where women were as much beneficiaries and contributors as men. So, no one in the right mind denies the importance of education, especially Muslims who are explicitly encouraged in Quran to seek and increase knowledge, “and pray, “My Lord! Increase me in knowledge.” [Quran 20:114]

On the other hand, we also agree that people go to universities to complete their education in order to learn a profession, so they can be able to find a job. We sacrifice a good portion of our life and spend a good amount of money as an investment for our future. Rare are those who pursue higher education for other reasons. If so, they are an exception, not the rule.

Therefore, the questions that we should ask before condemning the Taliban for their decision are whether university degrees fulfil our expectations or not and whether university degrees help us find a job or not.

Based on my personal experience and the experience of many other people who I know and have contact with, university degrees for the most part don’t guarantee a job anymore. Students spend the best time of their life chasing a certificate that more often than not has no more value that a decorated piece of paper.

The truth of the matter is that the primary function of universities nowadays is to keep people busy, distracted, make them waste their best time of their lives, get loans and start the life with a big debt. In addition universities are designed to control and brainwash people, lock them up in a box, and expose them to the most dangerous forms of propaganda. Universities are places of propaganda and mind control. Technology and AI have rendered university degrees useless and redundant.

Governments need people to go to university not to learn a profession, but to have access to them and brainwash them, as well as render them vulnerable with all that debt and waste of time and money, which makes it very easy for the system to control them.

Universities are useless as long as they don’t’ guarantee a job.

This topic, that is, women’s rights, is very dear to me because I consider myself a genuine proponent and supporter of women. Women are not simply a very important part of society; they are, rather, the society itself, inasmuch as men are the society. There is no society without women, and there is no society without men. So, saying that this group or that group is important does not do justice to the topic.

As a staunch supporter of women, I would like to point out some problems that I’ve noticed with this concept of women’s rights – the way it is propagated in the West specifically.

First, it is axiomatic that empires by their very nature give rights to no one. On the contrary, empires intrinsically take and infringe on people’s rights. To say that ’empires give rights’, this is a perfect example of oxymoron. It is a paradox. Thus, the American Empire makes no exception, and I don’t mean particularly the US Government.

Second, when governments, especially in the West, come up with a law or a policy, always there must be some hidden agenda or political objective to be achieved. What is propagated publicly is either a disguised mechanism or a distraction for the real objective.

Third, governments, especially in the West, play a lot with human feelings and psychology. When they want to reach some sinister political objectives, such as economic and political control, establishment of monopolies, cheap labor, domestic and family espionage, and divide-and-conquer techniques, they choose some mechanisms which involve shame, prejudice, and self-censorship – mechanisms which deter masses from discussing about them.

In my view, women’s rights fall into this category. The American Empire, and the British Empire before, has managed to convince and brainwash masses, or a least a good portion of them, that we – as human society – got it all wrong for thousands upon thousands of years, and for the first time in history, our new founding fathers of the American Empire are redefining everything, including the role of women.

In reality, things are much simpler. The Empire gives rights to no one. On the contrary, the Empire needs obedient slaves, conflicts, spies, stooges, servants, gossipers – to mold the public opinion; the Empire needs access to people, access to every family, access to every one of us. The Empire needs people to be in permanent struggle and conflict.

I’m afraid that women’s rights is all about serving this purpose. The is the elephant in the room. We all see it everyday, but it is hard to articulate and formulate our thoughts.

Remember, always go back to axiomatic truths of life.

My response is very simple. I completely agree that we should live in our own countries, our own lands and according to our own traditions and laws. Fair and square!

However, we live in globalism, where the American Empire has spread its power in every country and region in the world, where the political advice of the American Government constitutes a supreme law for the rest of the world, where we have no choice but to follow it. If not, there are plenty of examples of what’s going to happen.

I would go back to my country, but what is the definition of “my country”? There is no such thing “my country” anymore in the modern time . What we call “country” or “territorial state” is merely an administrative unit for governing purposes, not independent in the sense that people can live according to their free will. The “will” belongs to the American Empire only, similar to the Ancient Roman Empire. And frankly speaking, there’s nothing wrong here. This is how things work in this world, except that this is the truth, and I’m not debating here about the performance of the American Empire compared to the other empires of the past. There are pros and cons.

So, yes, I would go back to my country named on the map as “Albania”, which is geographically located at 39°- 42° northern latitude and at 19° – 21° eastern longitude. But in that country, we are ruled by a government that officially and formally is approved and needs to be approved by the American Empire, represented in Albania by its embassy. Our laws are copy-pasted from the West, again, approved by the American Empire. The judicial system has to be reformed and approved by the American Empire.

With regard to the natural resources and economy, everything belongs to the American Empire. To think that countries can be developed independently is an illusion.

So, there’s no such as thing “my country”. The Canadian Government knows very well what I mean.
