First, schools and universities are educational institutions run and controlled by the government or licensed and overseen by it. Therefore, it goes without saying that their main purpose is not to serve us, but to serve the government itself and its interests. School curricula are not designed to teach children real knowledge or train them with the skills that they can use independently; quite the contrary, secular schools are designed to brainwash children, teach them the dogma of the secular state, expose them to lies and propaganda, keep them busy, demoralize and put them down all the time, keep them seated for hours inside the outdated classrooms, which prevents them from even developing the right physical skills, and wake them up early in the morning in a fashion that ruins their entire day.

Schools are so centralized. A few corrupt individuals of the government can affect and control the lives of millions of children. Schools give the government enormous access to the lives of children, unprecedented in the entire human history. These kinds of schools which the British secular governments have built are in truth prisons for our children. They are not designed to teach them, but to destroy their lives.

It is true that they learn something there. Some of them become successful and are promoted by the government, but that’s just a strategy of tempting them to go to school – the prison of children.

We cannot even imagine how much access the secular governments have to our children. They collect information and prepare statistics which can be used against them, so their future is decided by the government behind the scenes while the poor young kids, completely innocent, attend classes regularly hoping that their parents are making the best investment for them.

The funny part is that the government controls everything. It controls the success of children in school, and it controls the opportunities to work once they graduate. By virtue of going to school, it means that a child is in the total control of the government.

Therefore, the only way to protect our children from the tyranny and oppression of the government is to expose these regimes that are designed to destroy lives of people. At the same time, we should teach our children that the government is the biggest enemy; we should teach them to never trust the government, never rely on it, never have faith in it, but to consider it an enemy and a deceiving organization. We should teach our children that everything which comes from the government comes with a hefty price, including child support.

We should teach our children real knowledge at home.

The examples are many, such as “So be patient with your Lord’s decree, and do not be like the Man of the Whale (Jonah), who cried out (to Allah) in total distress. [68:48], “So endure with beautiful patience.” [70:5], “Be patient ˹O Prophet˺ with what they say, and depart from them courteously.” [73:10], “And be patient for the sake of your Lord.” [74:7], “they are rewarded with a garden and garments of silk for their patience.” [76:12], “So be patient with your Lord’s decree, and do not yield to any evildoer or staunch disbeliever from among them.” [76:24], or “…Surely in this are signs for whoever is much patient, grateful.” [31:31]

These Quranic verses which talk about patience require deep reflection about the reason why Allah emphasized it. The Qur’an gives the context of what the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was facing when he proclaimed that he was receiving revelation from God, whose message was to glorify Allah alone and submit to Him and His judgement fully and genuinely. As a result, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was rejected by the political elite, insulted, ridiculed, mocked publicly, accused of being insane, a poet, a magician, a fortune-teller, was boycotted, his companions were persecuted and executed in front of him, tortured, detained, and eventually his enemies plotted to assassinate him in order to prevent him from immigrating to Madinah.

Definitely, God did not want to punish the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), for he was the best of humans and upon great moral values. However, Allah taught us through him that in order to know Him, accept His judgment and live our lives according to His will, one must get rid of pride, arrogance, delusion, and fake self-sufficiency. Knowing God is a process, and the essence of that process is through patience.

Public rejection and humiliation, hunger, oppression, fear of ill treatment and persecution, loss of wealth and people, and boycott make one get rid of any form of arrogance or delusion, and only then one can know God and fully submit to Him and His judgement, but this cannot be realized without patience.

Humiliation, for example, is not a goal in and of itself, but a means of getting rid of arrogance and pride, which are the biggest barriers to knowing God and accepting the Truth, or even the scientific truth for that matter. So, being patience is part and parcel of the process of transformation through trials and tribulations. It is not merely a good deed for which one is rewarded. That’s why scholars, such as Ibn al-Qayyim considers patience as half of the belief while the other half is gratitude.

The true political awareness is about the power of decision making, about natural resources and the distribution of the economy, jobs and business rights, religious freedom and family power.

Political power for us means the political right to own businesses and have more access to the economy.

Political power for us means to limit the power of the government and its access in our personal lives and families.

Political power for us means to increase family autonomy and less taxes.

Political power for us means to make long term plans and think big.

Political awareness for us means not to trust the government and its institutions, including courts of law, and consider Secularist governments as a necessary evil.

Political awareness and personal political power is all about the personal economy, individual and family cooperation – far from the interference of the government. Actually, the Secularist government should always be considered as a threat and hindrance to political freedom.

The more we increase the political power among people, the more freedom we have, the more we mitigate the threatening power of the government, which, again, it’s a necessary evil.

The fact that Secularist governments have the power to control at a family level, come up with oppressive laws, implement worldwide anti family laws, vilify all religions, mock us with this gender woke, have absolute control on our economy and money, this means that we lack true political power at an individual level.

Instead, all too deceptively, the British Evil Empire has given us an alternative to the real power: the right to be elected and to elect.

My response to the British Evil Secularism is:

We don’t need that fake right. We don’t care who is appointed as prime minister. That makes no difference to us. We don’t buy that mockery anymore.

However, we care about our personal political power: to own, to start businesses, to have family and religious autonomy, and to defend ourselves from the massive army of spies and agents who are paid by the government.

Political power means fewer spies and governmental agents.

We all need to be aware of our personal political power and how we can maximize it, which is realistic and within reach. Voting and elections are a British deception, which we should reject contemptuously. They want to deceive us with some fake processes in order to forget our real personal power.

For example, if we want to make a hundred chairs, it is much easier, more efficient and less time consuming by copying a hundred times each of its parts and then assembling them than making a hundred chairs separately and each made independently. It is all about energy and efficiency. One of the undisputed truths of this life is that natural resources are limited.

We apply the same logic in education, human control, liberation, or training. Dealing with each and every single individual is simply impossible and very, very inefficient. Hence, role modes are indispensable. Actually, not only from an efficiency point of view, but sometimes role models provide the only way to affect human beings.

Role models are used by governments to control people. They’re used to exploit them as well as they are used for educational purposes. So, a role model is a technique of affecting people whether it is used for good or for bad. They are used by religion, by politics, by sports; they are used in warfare as well as for peaceful activity.

In this regard, Secularism – be it the eastern communism or the western democracy, has invested heavily in role models. The New Soviet Man, for instance, was an archetypical person which would embody a set of qualities and characteristics that the communist government deemed as perfect for human control. By emulating the archetypical new soviet man, the job of the government would become extremely easier to control and exploit people.

The West is no different than the Soviet Union in this aspect except that it has used other techniques and more insidious ways of forcing on people archetypical qualities, by means of propaganda, reward and punishment and education. The poet W.H. Auden, for example, speaks about the concept of the unknown citizen in the USA, similar to the Soviet New Man.

In religion, role models are no less than prophets themselves. God has commissioned certain people not only to convey His message of salvation, but to serve as role models for guidance and liberation from human enslavement. In this context, the Qur’an says, “These prophets were rightly guided by Allah, so follow their guidance.” [6:90]

People are free to choose. We can choose a role model provided by the government and politics in order to facilitate their control upon us, or we can choose to emulate a prophet of God who provides the best example for human liberation, dignity, prosperity and salvation.

The battle of and about role models is very serious because it has to do with control, taxes, exploitation, or liberation and salvation.

Role models are important because there is much easier to copy someone visually than following instructions, especially at an early age. For this reason, children are programmed to copy, imitate and emulate, especially those around them, those who interact with them, which is first and foremost parents, and maybe their siblings and friends.

At the same time, children naturally love and admire perfection. We all love something which is perfect, beautiful, amazing, ideal, and excellent. A talented soccer player is admired by millions, not to say, billions of people around the world. A famous actor, who performs the role of a hero, sets the trend for millions of others. There is no blame on that because we all love perfection.

Besides, copying others is much efficient from a manufacturing point of view because our resources, time, and energy are limited in this world. If we had to make a new tool in a way that we had to rediscover it each and every time, in other words, without copying a prototype, human civilization would have remained in the stone age forever.

When it comes to human behavior, what is considered good or bad, what qualities one should gain and acquire in order to come closer to perfection, those around us are not necessary the best example. Children are programmed to copy their parents, and that’s necessary at the beginning of their life, but they are not perfect. After all, those around us whom we copy and emulate, they themselves have copied others before, so the set of traits and moral values that we can possibly copy from others have reached us through a process of copying, which is not a perfect process. In addition, people learn bad habits as well as they reflect in their character specific problems that they’ve gone through in their lives.

Therefore, if we copy our parents – our main role model, we are going to replicate their negative aspects. So, parents are not that perfect prototype that we can copy them on everything. In fact, this is similar to making a new car by replicating an old and broken one.

So, while children temporarily need a person to follow until they mature mentally, they eventually would need a prototype to emulate in order to reach perfection, a prototype which is not polluted by their own life’s problems. This makes sense in manufacturing process, and this would perfectly make sense in our social life.

And that’s exactly one of the roles of a prophet of God, to represent perfection so people can follow him. In order to reach perfection of character and personality, that cannot be achieved by copying parents, but by emulating a prophet of God.

From an Islamic perspective, Mother’s Day is each and every single day in the real sense. Showing gratitude to mothers is something that will never be enough even if it is done all year around. There is no excess in respecting mothers. It will always remain insufficient.

It is reported that a man came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and asked him, “Who among people is most deserving of my fine treatment?” He said, “Your mother”. He again asked, ”Who next?” “Your mother”, the Prophet replied again. He asked, “Who next?” He said again, “Your mother.” He again asked, “Then who?” Thereupon he said,” Then your father.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

When the war on family and natural values is on the rise, anything which contributes towards the revival of the most important social institution matters even if it is done one day a year.

The people who recognize the importance of family and celebrate the natural role of parents, especially mothers, are not the same as those who neglect and disregard it. The virtue of gratitude, respect, and dignity are meaningless if not dedicated first and foremost to parents.

While Islam encourages sons and daughters to respect their parents the most, it also reminds the latter about the main reason why they are entitled to enjoy that position.

“And be humble with them out of mercy, and pray, “My Lord! Be merciful to them as they raised me when I was young.” [Qur’an, 17:24]

The word ‘rabbeyaani’ – raised me, actually means much more than simply providing food and shelter. It means to educate, to raise one with proper values and upon good morals. Parents deserve the respect also for what they are supposed to do. Parents are the people who have natural access and a unique position to children. They have the chance to raise great people as well as they are in a position that can do much harm.

To conclude, mothers are the most beloved people to us. The love for them is special and above all. Children depend on their mothers from the moment they are born and they depend on their parents for a long time.

Respecting parents and showing gratitude to them is what they deserve, but it is also a reminder to them about their important and irreplaceable role, which, if not used properly, can cause damage to their children more than anyone else. Islam promotes the gratitude to parents, but it also incentivizes parents to do their best for their children and raise them properly, upon the truth and upon values.

As long as we see sons and daughters inviting their mothers to restaurants to show gratitude to them, this is a good sign and there is hope for a better future.
