As humans, we make decisions all the time. This is the nature of this life. Our future is but the product of our decisions, and we harvest what we plant. Therefore, the more we know how to make decisions and plans for our lives, the better the outcome will be. “Living is no laughing matter,” as the quote goes.

Decisions could very from those which have to do with our daily life to the most important ones that affect our entire life. Unfortunately, most of the people either are victims of decisions that have been made by other people on their behalf, such as parents, or they don’t make life time decisions. They have no long term plans. They follow the herd. They follow the trend.

A life without plans and without mindful and rigorous decisions is destined to be a failed one. Life is like a military battle – any mistake could lead to a fatal defeat. Our enemy will use any opportunity or could exploit any mistake or miscalculation of ours against us. From the time we are born until we die, we are surrounded by enemies. Life does not tolerate mistakes. Life is not merciful with us, for natural resources are limited while our needs and greed are virtually unlimited.

Decisions need to be made carefully. We need to bring into the equation all the factors that we think are relevant and might change the outcome. We need to consult people, but in the end the decision should be based on the personal conclusion. We need to do research. We need to know the society where we live and who are the enemies before making an important decision.

Speaking of important decisions, I would include in this category anything that has lifetime effects on us, such as university degrees, professions, career, marriage, investment, immigration, buying property, quitting a job etc. In order to increase the chances of success, such decisions require knowledge and wisdom.

Based on my personal experience and what I’ve observed carefully how people make decisions, there are two major factors that most of us are oblivious of when we make important decisions, especially in communist societies.

First, most of the people assume that they are able to make good decisions while secularist governments aim to instruct people to do just the opposite. A society whose members are not able to make good and independent decisions is much easier to be controlled.

Second, people fail to bring into the equation the fact that the government is actually an enemy of ours. This does not mean that we have to rebel or fight against it, or incite people to rebel against it. No! This means that secular governments don’t represent us. They act as foreign occupiers, and in reality, they are so. They represent the British Monarchy. So, when we make an important decision, we have to take into consideration the government factor. The more we avoid an interaction with the government or reliance on it, the better for us. The government is our enemy.

Neil deGrasse Tyson is one of the most famous science communicators or propagators. As a Harvard graduate and an astrophysicist, his videos and talks on physics, astronomy, life on Earth, and science in general, are fantastic, and even inspiring. As a good journalist himself, he simplifies the understanding of science for the general public and for those who are not familiar with the scientific terminology. So, there’s no doubt that he deserves credit for this wonderful job.

At the same time, his words and opinions quite often convey a political message. Neil deGrasse Tyson is not that classical scientist, who tries to present himself as unbiased and disinterested as possible, far from politics. He overlaps quite often the uniform of a scientist with that of a journalist or propagandist, which is not necessarily wrong.

Even though I enjoy his videos about the universe, its origin and its future, by making it so easy for us to grasp something which is different and complex, his hatred towards religion, more specifically the religion of Islam, is what makes him not that much different from other atheists whose very mission is to wipe out Islam.

Neil deGrasse Tyson suggests in a very convincing way that religion has the best recipe for conflicts, it prevents people from doing science, from exploring the universe, and from benefitting from scientific discoveries. Even within religion, those who are more literalist and strict, such are even more dangerous, Mr. Tyson argues. In this regard, he admits that there were many Muslim scientists in the past, whose contribution to science was great, but, he would argue, they were not that religious.

In a word, science and religion are two different mindsets and not compatible with each other. In my view, he couldn’t be more wrong and more subjective. I don’t believe he is simply expressing his personal opinions; rather, he’s pushing ahead a political agenda, which is to spread atheism, which is not a scientific mission.

I would say to Neil deGrasse Tyson that religion does not prevent people from doing science. I, for one, am a Muslim, and I love science. Never did the religion stop me from loving science, from accepting the scientific data. The Quran is filled with words which encourage one to observe and ask questions, exactly what science does.

It is not the religion of Islam, Mr. Tyson, which prevents people from doing science. It is the secular politics and governments, which you praise so much, which stop people from doing science, which have turned our universities into places of espionage and secrecy and political agendas. It is not the religious doctrine which prevents Muslims from pursuing science. Islam is the religion of transparency, but your secularism is the doctrine of spies and agents. Science requires transparency and fairness, not secrecy and espionage and lies and censorship, as it is the case of the secular universities today.

The problem with materialist scientists, who virtually all of them demonstrate an atheistic belief, is that they call everyone to join on a common platform, that is, to study nature based on some all agreed upon principles, such as approaching it by using our senses as opposed to pure reason, instinct and natural intuition – primarily utilized by metaphysics and theology, but they end up preaching metaphysics.

Get tirana.social on google play:

No one denies the positive sides and the power of science, but it is amazing how scientists finish their career with metaphysics. Even though their agenda seem to deny God – the Creator and Sustainer of the universe or universes, for many reasons, which could be for purely political ones, they still display a type of surrender: that they cannot answer all the questions, especially the fundamental ones.

The problem might not lie with the fact that they have chosen to study nature only based on the data that we collected by using our senses. Data could be more than enough. The problem lies with the fundamental assumption of science and its definition, that is, materialism, which seems to be a very self-defined term, but it is not. In fact, the physical and metaphysical aspects are much more intertwined than scientists assume. It is not a coincidence that they start with physics and end their career with metaphysics.

Perhaps there is nothing wrong to separate these two from each other for study reasons; however, accepting one and suppressing the other is a mistake.

If scientists are so genuinely and disinterestedly focused on the study of nature based on a materialist assumption, why do they so passionately deny God and occupy so much time on TV, YouTube, write books and deliver lectures around the world doing that? Why don’t they stick to their science? Are they paid by our taxes to push ahead certain agendas? Certainly, the fact that the majority of people believe in God, this does not prevent anyone from doing science. A government can decide to push ahead certain atheist agendas, but it should not use scientists in the most dishonest way to promote them.

The fact of the matter is that scientists are losing credibility. They are appearing more as politicians and preachers than unbiased scholars who deal strictly with the study of nature. They are being used for propaganda. They are being used by politics to push ahead political agendas and endorse political movements.

Scientists are acting as hypocrite and dishonest as religious clergy who have gone astray. They control the academia and universities and make sure that only those who subscribe to their ideology are allowed to advance. Historically, they denied God, the God of the Catholic Church, but they have ended up imitating the same rituals: inquisition, lies, propaganda, distortion of texts and data, cover up of facts and being dishonest in their intentions.

Ironically, scientists have proven the necessity of God and morality as never before.
