WARLORDS OF SUDAN, THE CIA, AND A POTENTIAL SECOND SYRIA

by Sabri Lushi

When the unrest of Syria started in March, 2011, very few were those who truly predicted the real catastrophe. I remember Muslims expressing some sort of enthusiasm for change, regardless of not knowing anything of who was behind the Arab Spring. Indeed, Muslims were eagerly desiring change. By and large, all those who I met of Arab Muslims were against Bashar Al-Assad, Hosni Mubarak, Muammar Gaddafi, and Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.

Nevertheless, Muslims got deceived spectacularly. Being skeptical of what was happening, as I was not convinced at all by the protests and chaos in Egypt and Tunisia and Libya, I remember vividly some Muslims telling me so confidently that, “Egypt is teaching the world what democracy is. It is making history.”

With regard to Egypt, even though I was not politically aware of the role of the CIA and its orchestration, I was instinctively confident that the so called revolution will fail. In less than a year, the democratically elected president of Egypt was arrested and the country was taken over by a CIA general, who surprisingly had served as the minister of defense under Morsi, which frankly speaking this only increases the confusion and the role of Mohamed Morsi himself.

As if the chaos of Egypt was not bad enough for the Ummah, Syria became the symbol of Muslim suffering, deception, chaos, confusion, betrayal, and lack of Muslim leadership. The Syrian confusing war continues to break our hearts. Many people have died, completely innocent. Thousands of Muslim young men were encouraged by the western governments to participate in that conflict, supposedly in the name of a jihad against Bashar al-Assad, but it resulted into a major trap. Possibly, thousands of them, including Muslims from the Balkans, were slaughtered like sheep in Syria.

A decade after the Syrian conflict, everything has become clear. It was not a war for democracy and political changes; rather, it was an organized trap by the CIA, the US Government, the UK Government, and many other governments, including Russian, Albanian, and Chinese ones, against Muslim men. It was an international military operation which simply intended to kill Muslims in a very organized fashion: a classical backstabbing.

Therefore, I am afraid that what is happening in Sudan could result into just another Syria. I am afraid that these two CIA generals, namely, Gen. Abdel-Fattah Burhan and Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, are in charge of this CIA operation of creating political chaos, killing innocent Muslims, and possibly making a new destination for war tourism. Unfortunately, nothing can prevent the US Government to build slaughter houses in order to kill innocent Muslims especially given the fact that our Ummah is led by CIA spies and British agents, as it is the case of these two Sudanese CIA spies who are destroying their own country. It is a very sad day for the Muslim Ummah.
